Arai & Co., Inc. the brand holder of Aria / Aria Pro II guitars in Japan announces the acquisition of US based portable amplifier brand PIGNOSE. The acquisition had been made in the end of June 2023.
Pignose is one of the best known portable amplifier brand. The iconic 7-100 amplifier was first produced in 1972 by guitarist Terry Kath and other members and associates of the band Chicago and launched to music industry at Summer NAMM Show in 1973.
Arai & Co., Inc. had been taking a role of exclusive Pignose distributor in Japan since 1976. By mid 90s Arai & Co., Inc. started to produce Pignose guitars under license from US Pignose Indstries and still being sold in various countries including the UK and USA.
